The things we value most don’t just happen. They have to be nurtured to become strong and true. These are the values at the heart of our community and at the center of the Siskey Family YMCA. There is no better way to help children and adults of all backgrounds in our community then to join us at the Ballantyne Resort on November 13, 2008 for the Siskey Family YMCA “BE A COMMUNITY STAR” Annual Community Outreach Dinner Auction.

The Siskey Family YMCA, along with our sister branch the Johnston YMCA, believe in building a community where all people, especially the young, are encouraged to develop their fullest potential in spirit, mind, and body. As we continue to evolve as a community builder, we will continue to invest resources on behalf of the community in valued frontline programs, broad community initiatives, and community-wide projects that move beyond serving needs to seek community solutions. Programs and services that this event directly supports like afterschool, youth sports, health and fitness, and camping experiences including our Camp Boomerang, our inclusive camp for autistic children, the only camp like it in Charlotte that is one of three in the state of North Carolina.

How to Help
Sponsorships - We still have sponsorships available. So far this year we are proud to have Harris Teeter as our Title Sponsor. Windsor Run, an Erickson Retirement Community, has already signed on as a returning Premier Sponsor for this year.
