Your child can enjoy YMCA Day Camp no matter what his or her interest! We have 13 day camp locations across the greater Charlotte area offering everything from sports and swimming to dance and cheerleading.

 YExperience Camp
At YExperience Camp your child is guaranteed to find fun-packed days. They’ll swim, engage in healthy activities, games and challenges. Through fun activities, our Camp Guides will teach your child to discover, build skills and work as part of a team. The experiences they enjoy will have lasting impact on their lives as they begin to imagine and explore life around them this summer. |

YMCA Adventure Camp [Outdoor, Waterfront, Uptown]
The YMCA has a variety of Adventure Camps – Outdoor, Waterfront and Uptown! Our Outdoor camps teach children to discover, master outdoor skills, work as a team and appreciate the environment. Our Lake Norman YMCA and Camp Thunderbird have waterfront options like skiing, wake-boarding and sailing. Our Center City YMCAs take campers exploring uptown highlights, riding the trolley and swimming at the Childress Klein YMCA. Join us this summer! |

Sports and Swimming
 Whether your children are interested in trying a new sport or perfecting skills in the sport or stroke they love, YMCA Sports and Swimming Camps are for them. Through drills, practices, and scrimmages, campers will sharpen their skills, increase their energy and strength and build self-esteem. Our Sports and swimming Camp coaches focus on healthy competition, strength and confidence. They’ll learn to take risks and push themselves to the next level, no matter what their current athletic ability. |

Dance/Gymnastics/Cheerleading
Your child will learn proper techniques and basic skills for his or her specialty. Our experienced Camp Instructors will help your camper build self-esteem while learning healthy movement or self-expression. YMCA Dance, Gymnastics and Cheerleading Camps also teach campers how to be a good friend, leader and teammate. Parents – you can see for yourself! See what your child has learned at a performance where campers take pride in their accomplishments. |

 Arts
YMCA Arts Camps will help your child harness his or her creativity and bring it to life! Campers will use art as a means of self-expression and will grow in their creative side through drama, music or visual art. They will be encouraged to discover their individual talent through various art projects and will end up with at least one masterpiece showcasing the skills they’ve learned. Arts camps are available throughout the greater Charlotte area, with concentrated programs at the Johnston YMCA, located in the heart of the NoDa Arts District. |

Themed
YMCA Themed Camps provide unique experiences that allow campers to explore a single subject in a fun and exciting way. Themed Camps are focused on one activity or topic to encourage campers to discover a new passion or grow in something they already love. Themed Camps may help a child find a lifelong interest or even career. |

Leadership Development
 By learning to become a stronger leader or camp counselor at a YMCA Leadership Development camp, your teen will develop skills that apply to camp, sports, school and life! They will learn the importance of service through hands-on training, while experiencing all the fun of camp and building strong, lasting friendships. |
