Youth Fitness

The Morrison Family YMCA is a family-friendly facility!  After completing a required Fitness Appointment, children ages 10-13 are permitted to use the cardiovascular equipment and the Free Motion equipment while exercising with a parent.  Contact the Fitness Center at (704) 716-4656 to schedule your child for a Fitness Appointment.  Children ages 14 and up have full member privileges in our Fitness Center.  Children ages 13 and up are allowed to attend our regular group Exercise Schedule.

Please note that the Ballantyne Village YMCA permits members 18 and up. 



Girl Power
Girl Power is a running and strength training program for girls ages 10-14.  It is also a great way to make new friends and develop an understanding on the importance of fitness and maximizing your running potential! This program incorporates running and strength training.






Boys Rule

Boys Rule is a running and strength training program for boys ages 10-14. This is a great time to make new friends and develop an understanding on the importance of fitness while developing the skills needed to maximize your running potential!
