Ritzy, Hidden Valley Starfish Extended Day Program
Starfish Academy is an innovative literacy program in
partnership with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Targeting first and second grade students, children are selected by their school principal and/or teacher to participate in this holistic program, which provides each child with intensive, focused instruction by certified teachers, and includes workshops to increase parent involvement. The program’s focus is on helping children achieve the reading and comprehension goals recommended for success in their grade level.
